About Hannah Pilling
Hannah is an experienced consultant, having worked in the political environment for twenty years.
At Yorkshire Cancer Research, Hannah led the creation and delivery of a new policy and public affairs function, including recruiting and developing a young team. Under her leadership, the charity progressed from having no public affairs activity to securing meaningful influence on the Government’s National Cancer Plan within three years. Through a successful public campaign and sustained engagement, the organisation achieved several attributable policy wins. It now benefits from a strong and wide‑ranging network of influence with national and regional decision‑makers, an exemplary political monitoring capability and is well-positioned to engage meaningfully with Government on cancer policy.
Hannah started her career in Westminster, interning for Theresa May before joining David Cameron’s team in Parliament for five years. Prior to moving to Yorkshire, Hannah worked at Clarence House for King Charles III for nearly a decade, supporting His Majesty’s charitable activities and regular engagement with national, international and devolved governments.
